New Playground Design Thanks to community input, the FVRD has selected the “Slide Mountain” design for the new playground and swing set at Shannon Community Park.
Construction is set to begin in June. Take a look below to see what’s planned.
We are excited to share two playground concepts, Slide Mountain and The Lookout, for the upcoming park. Both are designed to reflect the scope and scale of what is being considered for this new community space. These designs provide a vision of the potential layout, features, and play opportunities that will be available.
