Cable TV Service Referendum

The Fraser Valley Regional District is planning to hold a referendum on the future of the cable television service provided by the Fraser Canyon Television Association to the communities of Boston Bar, North Bend, and Canyon Alpine. The referendum will be held at the same time as local government elections in October 2026. The question on the referendum ballot will be:

"Are you in favour of ending the Boston Bar and North Bend television service area by the Fraser Valley Regional District adopting Repeal Bylaw No. 1829, 2026?”

To clarify, a vote for “YES” indicates you are in favour of ending the service; a vote indicating “NO” means you would like to see the service continue.
