What is the Board of Variance
The Board of Variance is an independent appeal body which consists of three persons appointed by the Board in accordance with the British Columbia Local Government Act (the "Act").
How often does the BOV meet?
The BOV meets only as needed when applications are received and ready to be heard. The FVRD averages 1-3 meetings a year. Each meeting is approximately 1 hour long.
How do I apply to serve on the BOV?
Simply fill out the application form and submit it to info@fvrd.ca.
